About Freya
I’m a Physics tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience and a strong background through my MSc in Applied Physics. I focus on helping students understand the beauty and logic of optics and wave phenomena. Light, sound, and electromagnetic waves are central to my lessons. I guide students through ray tracing with clarity so they can visualise how light behaves. Interference and diffraction are taught with step-by-step reasoning to remove confusion. My sessions also explore how wave principles influence modern technologies. I have worked with learners in photonics, telecommunications, and imaging sciences. They appreciate the way I link theory to application. I use diagrams and simulations to strengthen their understanding. Practice problems help students apply each idea confidently. My teaching approach in Physics is warm, clear, and designed to build confidence step by step. I use simple language to explain ideas about motion, forces, energy, and waves.
