About Artiom
Hi, I’m Artiom, a concert pianist, Master of Arts, and passionate music educator. Music has been the heart of my journey for over 15 years, taking me to prestigious stages across Europe and beyond—from Bozar in Brussels to the Vienna Konzerthaus. But beyond the spotlight, my greatest joy comes from sharing this beautiful art with others. Teaching is not just about technique; it’s about unlocking a student’s unique voice and helping them connect deeply with music. My lessons are tailored to your personal goals—whether you’re a beginner discovering the piano for the first time, an advanced student preparing for competitions, or someone who simply wants to play for joy. Together, we’ll explore technique, interpretation, and the emotions behind the notes, making every lesson an inspiring experience. I’ve worked with students of all ages, founded my own private music school, and even co-founded a music therapy center because I believe in the transformative power of music. My approach is warm, supportive, and structured, ensuring that each lesson is not only productive but also truly enjoyable. My Teaching Approach as a Piano Tutor
Teaching Method & Techniques:
I believe in a personalized, structured, and inspiring approach to learning the piano. My teaching combines classical European traditions with modern methodologies, ensuring students develop both technical proficiency and artistic expression. I focus on:
• Building a solid foundation in technique, finger strength, and hand coordination
• Developing musicality through phrasing, dynamics, and interpretation
• Integrating music theory and ear training for a deeper understanding
• Encouraging creativity and emotional expression through repertoire selection
• Incorporating performance practice to build confidence on stage
Typical Lesson Plan:
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and goals but generally includes:
1. Warm-up & Technical Exercises – Scales, arpeggios, finger independence drills
2. Repertoire Study – Learning and refining pieces with a focus on interpretation
3. Music Theory & Aural Skills – Understanding harmony, rhythm, and ear training
4. Performance & Expression – Developing stage presence and artistic communication
5. Improvisation & Creativity (optional) – Encouraging musical exploration
