Luca and I go way back. He was my tutor and good friend. I was fortunate to meet him during university where our budding friendship flourished. We shared a couple modules. Whenever I struggled with maths he would help me out at a moment's notice.

I admired his calming demeanour and philosophy. I would always hear him in his room teaching away, even during the exam period! What separates Luca from the rest is his ability to kindle a flame, not merely fill an empty barrel. He is passionate about maths and he instills this appetite in his students --something I believe is vital to any form of endeavour. I hated maths (I was a Classics student) but he had a way to link the two subjects making the tutoring far more enjoyable than I thought possible.

Luca has beaten all of my expectations as a tutor! His extensive knowledge on Maths and his adaptive style of teaching has made me learn to love Maths! I was always worried that Maths was too confusing and complex for me, but Luca showed me how to think and understand mathematically in a completely unique way! Really appreciate his hard work!
