About Serene
My name is Duha A, I am a Masters of Law candidate at Queens Mary University.
I completed my LLB in Sydney, Australia. I began tutoring upon completing my A- Levels. I initially worked for a tutoring company called 'The Thinking Cap', my area of speciality was English and my students were from years 5-13. I taught classrooms of 10-15 students. The students i taught were from a range of backgrounds, this includes: private, public, selective and boarding schools. After this, I started working as a private tutor while working in a law firm and studying full time.
I have been a private tutor for the past 5 years, specialising in English, Literature
and History.
I can cater for:
- GSCE students
- A- levels students
- assist in writing and editing essays
- assist with assignments
- Low and middle ability students
- Primary school students: english and homework help
I strive to offer friendly, personalised, and fun private tutorials for all my students,
to give them the confidence they need to meet their goals

My teaching technique is not exclusively based on getting the single task done, like an essay, rather with each of my students i draw up a plan of their goals and help them achieve them, thus i build a strong relationship with my student which by record has kept them motivated in the long term.

Duha is an incredibly punctual, dillgent and focussed tutor.
She helped me stay in school when i thought i was incapable, she has a special talent of showing someone their strengths, when they cant see them.
She is one of the most patient and passionate person i have come across, a true gem.View more recommendations
