About Stella
My passion for jazz guitar is more than just a profession; it's a lifelong journey that fuels my creativity and dedication every single day. With over five years of teaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of guiding numerous students through their own musical journeys, and each one has enriched my own understanding and love for jazz.
Jazz, with its rich history and boundless potential for improvisation, has always fascinated me. From the first time I picked up a guitar, I was captivated by the freedom and expression that jazz allows. This passion drives me to constantly explore new techniques, compositions, and sounds, ensuring that my teaching methods are always fresh and inspiring.
Sharing this passion with my students is incredibly rewarding. There’s nothing quite like seeing a student’s eyes light up when they master a challenging piece, nail a complex improvisation, or compose their first song. I strive to create a learning environment that is both challenging and supportive, where students feel encouraged to push their boundaries and discover their unique musical voice.
My goal as a tutor is not only to teach the technical aspects of jazz guitar but also to instill a deep appreciation and enthusiasm for the genre. I believe that passion is the key to truly mastering an instrument, and I am committed to helping each of my students find their own love for jazz. Together, we’ll explore the depths of jazz guitar, unlocking new skills and sparking a lifelong passion for music.

In our lessons, you'll dive deep into the world of jazz, exploring classic and contemporary songs that will expand your repertoire and understanding of the genre. We'll work on improvisation techniques, allowing you to express yourself creatively and confidently in any musical situation. Through ear training exercises, you'll develop the ability to recognize chords, intervals, and melodies by ear, enhancing your overall musicianship.
Understanding the theory behind the music is crucial, and we'll break down complex concepts into manageable lessons that make sense and are easy to apply.
