About Shreya
I am a Master's in Management graduate from Warwick Business School. I have been tutoring as a part time job and have previously taught English language and literature to students up to 13 years of age. I have always loved teaching and feel well equiped to guide children in English. Moreover, having given competitive exams like IELTS and GMAT myself, I am also well-versed with the curriculum of such exams, and have helped various college/university aspirants achieve their target scores in such exams.

My teaching methodology is holistic and I believe in tailoring my approach depending on the individual student's needs. For instance, a typical lesson plan will depend on what the student would like to cover. It would be ideal if the material can be passed on to me one day in advance. After addressing the topics, I usually dedicate a certain amount of time for doubts and discussions. I believe that it is important for students to grasp key concepts and to practice the language by reading, writing and communicating. Once the student has revised the taught syllabus, every subsequent session will begin with a "doubt clearing session" and only then will a new topic be taken up. Furthermore, I also evaluate the vocabulary, comprehension and grammar of the student and help them develop their own creative style of writing.
