About Fikayo
Hi there! My name is Fikayo and I'm a high school student with lots of French experience and a willingness to teach other people. I love to learn new things while having fun at the same time. Learning is important, and so is being able to remember it in the long run! Classes will be filled with learning new things through scenarios, skits, videos and books!

As a tutor, my approach is centered around personalization and engagement. I believe every student learns differently, so I fine tune each lesson to suit individual needs, learning styles, and goals. My teaching methodology combines interactive activities, real-world examples, and cultural immersion to make lessons practical and memorable. I focus on a communicative approach, encouraging students to actively participate in conversations and real-life scenarios. My lessons are a blend of grammar, vocabulary building, and fluency exercises, paired with multimedia resources like videos, articles, and audio clips to enhance understanding and retention. I also use spaced repetition techniques for better long-term memory retention.A typical lesson starts with a brief review of the previous material, followed by an introduction to new vocabulary or grammar concepts. We then dive into speaking and listening exercises, often incorporating role-plays, discussions, or problem-solving tasks. The lesson wraps up with a recap of key points, and I assign tailored homeworkWhat sets me apart as a tutor is my focus on making language learning both fun and immersive.
