About Giulia
I was born in one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, Venice, surrounded by water and good food. I studied philosophy in Venice and took a Master's Degree in Semiotics and Linguistics at the oldest university in the world: in Bologna, Italy.
I moved to the US in 2012 and I started an Italian Gelato company with my husband, to bring the real Italian gelato to Colorado. My passion for words and translations hasn't left me, so I still collaborate with an anthropological magazine based in Vienna as a contributor.
I have two kids and we only speak Italian at home!
We all go back to Italy every summer to practice Italian with my family, dive into the culture, and enjoy the good food!
I love making my own pasta and pizza, running on the beautiful Colorado trails, and chatting with my mom and dad every day.

Ciao! I was born and raised in Italy with a passion for words (parole) and Italian culture (especially food).
I strongly believe that finding yourself in the middle of a conversation is the only real way to learn a language, while incorporating cultural information and fun facts.
Grammar is important, but being confident, shameless, and daring are key qualities to teach your brain new linguistic patterns and sounds.
