About Juan
I am a Structure Integration Engineer Architect at Airbus, with a career built on the conceptual design and structural analysis of the world’s most advanced aerospace platforms. My professional background includes high-stakes R&D and engineering contributions at Lockheed Martin and SpaceX, where I worked on elite platforms including the F-16, F-35, F-22, and Starship.
My methodology is strictly "physics-first." I specialize in reducing the immense complexity of aerospace systems into actionable first principles. Having navigated the engineering challenges of both cutting-edge defense aircraft and next-generation space vehicles, I bridge the gap between academic theory and the high-performance requirements of the modern industry.
I focus on helping students master statics, flight performance, and conceptual aircraft design by cutting through academic "noise." Whether you are a high school student establishing your foundation or a university peer tackling advanced systems architecture, I provide the engineering intuition and clarity required to excel at the highest levels.

I prioritize root-cause analysis over rote memorization. My teaching method focuses on deconstructing complex problems—from basic statics to advanced flight performance—into their fundamental first principles. By understanding the "why" behind governing equations, students gain the intuition to solve novel problems rather than just mimicking textbook examples.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Structural Diagnosis: We begin by identifying core physical constraints and variables.
First-Principles Derivation: We derive the necessary mathematical framework, ensuring zero gaps in logic.
Applied Synthesis: We bridge theory with real-world R&D context, often utilizing patterns from conceptual aircraft design to make abstract concepts tangible.
What Sets My Lessons Apart:
I translate high-level aerospace R&D into actionable learning. Whether you are a high schooler mastering the basics or a university student tackling systems integration, I teach you to think like an architect. My goal is to reduce your cognitive load by filtering out academic "noise" and focusing on the "Signal" required for both top-tier grades and professional mastery.
Target Audience:
High School Students: Seeking a physics-first foundation in physics, mathematics and mechanics.
University Engineering Students: Specialized coaching in Statics, Flight Performance, Conceptual Aircraft Design, and Structural Integration.

Juan is an incredible instructor and very thorough teacher. He has the ability to communicate anything from simple to highly complex concepts in ways that audiences from various backgrounds and with diverse experiences can understand. He specifically helped me with college level thermodynamics, and I went from not understanding a single word, to all of a sudden being able to visualize the concepts in my head clearly! If it wasn't for Juan, I would have most likely failed the class. 10/10 would recommend for any STEM related classes (high school level and above).
