I have been teaching chemistry at various levels for years. I have experience teaching at the middle school, high school, and college levels. Primarily at the college level, with five years experience teaching introductory chemistry at community colleges, with students from a wide variety of backgrounds.

If there were a one size fits all methodology out there, we'd already be using it. I try to provide a variety of approaches to the subject.
* math: you'd be surprised how far math will take you. Formal logic, baby.
* Audio-visual: Youtube videos ftw!
* Language: startling metaphors are startlingly effective
* kinesthetic: I'm not saying interpretive dance, just humorous movements.
