About Paulyna
Hi, I’m Paulyna, a computational scientist at King’s College London’s Randall Centre for Cell and Molecular Biophysics. My background is in genomic biotechnology and structural biology, and I work with biological data, molecules, and cutting-edge research every day.
I tutor Biology because I love the subject and I know exactly how it should be taught, not as a list of facts to memorise, but as a connected web of ideas where everything makes sense once you see how it fits together. Students who learn Biology this way don’t just pass exams; they understand the subject in a way that helps them with personal statements, university applications, and interviews too.

First lesson is a diagnostic. We’ll talk about your goals (which exam, which board, which topics feel hardest), do a quick check of where you are, and agree a plan with clear milestones.
Lessons are structured but interactive. I don’t lecture at you. We work through concepts together, I ask questions to test understanding, and we tackle exam-style problems so you build technique alongside knowledge.
Exam technique is half the battle. I’ll show you how to answer 6-mark questions, how to read mark schemes like an examiner, and how to spot the keywords that earn marks. Most students lose marks they could have kept.
Real-world context. Because I’m an active researcher, I can connect your syllabus to what’s actually happening in modern biology, useful for personal statements, Oxbridge interviews, and just making the subject genuinely interesting.
