I am a Maths tutor with over 10 years of experience and an MSc in Mathematical Modelling. My passion lies in using mathematics to understand the social sciences. I’m especially fascinated by network theory and agent-based modelling because they reveal how people and systems interact. These tools allow me to study social structures, the spread of information or disease, and patterns of collective behaviour. It amazes me how mathematical models can explain such complex human dynamics. In my lessons, I show students how quantitative methods can be used to make sense of real-world social problems. I guide them to connect mathematical ideas with the behaviours and patterns we see in everyday life. This approach helps them think critically, analyse more deeply, and appreciate the power of modelling. I love seeing students discover new insights through maths. It motivates me to create lessons that are clear, engaging, and intellectually rewarding.
