About Hua
As a native Chinese speaker, I have always been interested in the language and its culture, and have endeavoured to help Mandarin Chinese learners. For the past 20 odd years, I have worked as a voluntary Mandarin tutor for English speakers in China and UK.
Since 2015, I have taught Mandarin Chinese at a UK university for over a year and I have tutored three classes of Mandarin Chinese learners. Those who learned from the elementary level have progressed to the intermediate level, and those who graduated at the intermediate or advanced level continued to learn Mandarin Chinese through self-study, having acquired the skills to do autonomous learning.
