Hello! I'm a CELTA-qualified English tutor with an MA in TESOL and Applied Linguistics, an MA in English Literature, a PGD in ELT, and a B.Ed. With extensive experience teaching learners of different ages and levels in schools, colleges, and community settings, I specialise in ESOL, IELTS, GCSE English, and Functional Skills English.
My lessons are friendly, structured, interactive, and tailored to your individual needs. Whether you want to improve your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, prepare for an exam, or build confidence in everyday communication, I will create a personalised learning plan to help you achieve your goals.
I use modern teaching methods and digital learning tools to make lessons engaging, effective, and easy to follow. I also introduce students to high-quality self-study resources so they can continue improving their English independently between lessons.

My usual rate is £20 per hour for regular lessons of 1–2 hours per week.
For intensive or fast-track courses with longer weekly study hours, the hourly rate may be higher, but I am happy to discuss and negotiate fees based on your needs and circumstances.
