About Maxwell
Hi — I’m Maxwell. I study Economics and Finance at LSE now, but not that long ago I was exactly where you are: staring at a past paper wondering how anyone’s meant to know this stuff. So I get it, and I won’t talk at you like a textbook.
My thing is making economics and business actually make sense — why prices move, why some people get rich, how money really works — the stuff that’s genuinely interesting once someone explains it properly instead of burying it in jargon. I’ll also show you how to use AI to study smarter and learn faster (the right way, not the cheating way), which honestly makes revision way less painful.
I’m pretty relaxed, I don’t do the strict-teacher thing, and I actually like figuring out how a person learns best and teaching to that. My goal is simple: you walk out understanding it and a bit more confident than you walked in.

I’m an LSE postgraduate in Economics and Finance, with a Master’s in Business and Finance from Warwick Business School, a First-Class Business undergraduate degree, and an A in A-Level Economics — so I’ve recently sat and succeeded at exactly the exams I now help students with.
I tutor Economics and Business Studies at GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate level, online or in person. My focus is exam technique: not just understanding the content, but learning to answer the question the examiner is actually asking, which is usually what separates a B from an A.
Lessons are structured around where you are — we find the weak spots, drill them, and build real confidence. I also coach students to use AI as a genuine study tool: to test their understanding and learn faster, never to cut corners.
