About Amgad
I'm currently studying an MSc Finance at the London School of Economics, having graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in Economics. I achieved A* in Mathematics and A* in German at A-Level. Outside of my studies, I've worked in analytical roles at investment firms in London, which sharpened my ability to break down complex problems into clear, logical steps, a skill that translates directly into how I teach. I'm patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in subjects that often feel intimidating. I teach online and am flexible with scheduling around school timetables and exam periods.

I focus on building genuine understanding rather than memorisation. Each lesson is typically one hour, structured around working through problems together, I explain the reasoning behind each step so students can apply the method independently. I hold an A* in A-Level Mathematics and am completing an MSc Finance at LSE, with a BSc Economics from Loughborough University where I developed strong foundations in econometrics and quantitative methods. I teach GCSE Maths, Economics, and Physics online, tailoring each session to the student's exam board and areas of weakness. My approach is patient, direct, and focused on exam technique alongside conceptual clarity.
