About Melissa
My name is Melissa, and I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-6 from Walden University. I have a strong passion for creativity, which includes painting, drawing, and writing! Writing truly inspires me, and I also enjoy cooking and mathematics. Math has always been a favorite of mine; it’s the most straight forward subject to grasp and remains consistent across all countries. I pride myself on being well-organized and would be delighted to assist you with any subjects you may find challenging. Additionally, reading and writing are among my other favorite areas of study.

I am the kind of teacher who makes learning enjoyable, ensuring that you gain valuable knowledge while exploring your creativity. My lessons are filled with engaging and informative activities designed to help you succeed in any Elementary or Middle School subject. I have experience teaching students with autism and behavioral challenges, ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade. Additionally, I work as a substitute teacher throughout the year and am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education for grades K-6. From October 2023 to May 2024, I have served as a student teacher, encountering various challenges and learning effective ways to reach students who may be reluctant to engage.
