About Theo
I’m a second-year Business Economics (BSc) student at the University of Exeter, and I genuinely love the subject. Economics has always fascinated me — not just the theory, but the way it helps people understand the world around them. That’s a big part of why I enjoy teaching it. I like taking ideas that seem complicated at first and making them feel clear, manageable, and even enjoyable.
What motivates me most is seeing students grow in confidence. I know how rewarding it is when a topic finally “clicks”, and I want to help others experience that same feeling. Whether a student is aiming for top grades or simply trying to feel more secure in the subject, I’m patient, encouraging, and focused on helping them improve step by step. Supporting someone’s progress — academically and personally — is something I genuinely care about.

I currently have space for a couple of A-level Economics students who are aiming for grades B–A*. Lessons are typically one hour and can take place early on weekends or after school, depending on your schedule. I tailor every session to each student’s needs, so whatever topic or skill you’re struggling with, I can help you strengthen it. My teaching style is patient, exam-orientated, and focused on active learning. In my lessons, I provide A-level flashcards, previous exam questions, and high-quality real-world examples.
I achieved a strong A* in A-level Economics and went on to study Economics at degree level. I have a complete understanding of the knowledge and skills required to secure top marks, and I’m confident I can help you reach your goals.
