About Masato
Hi! I’m Masato from Osaka, Japan. I would describe myself as a friendly and outgoing person who values connection and communication.
My teaching mission is to support every single student in my classroom. whether it’s in person or online. I believe in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment where learners feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.
I’m here to support your curiosity for learning Japanese! I’ve taught at a Japanese language school in Melbourne CBD and also at a primary school in Oakleigh. Before moving to Australia, I worked as a homeroom teacher for 3 years at a public elementary school in Japan.
With over 7 years of teaching experience in both Japan and Australia, I can teach all levels from beginners to advanced tailored to your interests and goals. I use fun, clear, and practical materials that make learning enjoyable and meaningful.
I also love sharing Japanese culture, whether it’s food, traditions, anime, comics, or movies and I’d be happy to introduce some of the best places to visit in Japan! I’d love to hear about your culture too.
