About Puja
Hello! I’m Puja Puspa Ghosh, an experienced educator with a strong background in tutoring biology. With a Master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Guelph and a previous Master’s in Botany from the University of Dhaka, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my tutoring sessions. My Experience I have had the privilege of working in various teaching roles, including as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for both undergraduate and graduate courses. I’ve taught complex topics in biology and botany, simplifying them for students through engaging lectures, hands-on experiments, and personalized feedback. My experience also includes lecturing at the high school level and providing home tutoring, where I tailored my approach to suit each student’s unique learning needs. My Approach My tutoring philosophy revolves around making learning accessible and enjoyable. I strive to create a supportive and interactive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new concepts. My teaching method is focused on simplifying complex topics and fostering active student engagement. I provide clear, structured lessons using real-life examples, and hands-on demonstrations (videos, animations, PowerPoint slides, etc) according to the student curriculum. Each session is tailored to the student's specific needs and includes practical activities, quizzes, and detailed feedback to reinforce learning.
