About Daniela
As an artist and painter, my creative journey has been marked by extensive experience and a passion for a variety of mediums. With a particular focus on oil and acrylic painting, I have honed my skills over the years, exploring and mastering techniques that allow me to express my artistic vision vividly and authentically. My work encompasses a broad spectrum of styles and subjects, reflecting my versatility and dedication to the craft. Experienced Art Instructor With a profound conviction that art is accessible to all, I've dedicated substantial time and energy to educating students of varying ages and skill levels. My teaching background is extensive and varied, allowing me to engage with a diverse array of learners. I have led groups of up to 15 children or guiding adults in sessions of up to 35, my aim is to nurture creativity and self-assurance in my students by customising lessons to suit their individual needs and passions. One-on-One Instruction In addition to group classes, I have extensive experience providing one-on-one instruction. This personalised approach allows me to tailor lessons to the specific needs, goals, and skill levels of each student, ensuring they receive the support and feedback necessary to grow as artists. Diverse Mediums and Techniques While my expertise lies in oil and acrylic painting, my classes cover a wide array of mediums. With over half a decade of experience teaching art, I am dedicated to helping students individually chisel their skills and enjoy the learning process. Foundational Skills My art lessons begin with a strong foundation in the fundamental principles of art, similar to the techniques employed by the great art masters. This foundational stage is crucial for building a solid base upon which more complex skills can be developed. Key areas of focus include: - Shading: Understanding light and shadow to create depth and realism in your artwork. - Composition: Learning how to arrange elements within your artwork to create a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing piece. - Perspective: Mastering the techniques to depict three-dimensional objects and spaces on a two-dimensional surface. - Understanding Materials: Getting to know the properties and uses of various art materials to enhance your creative process. Intermediate Skills and Personal Development Once the foundational skills are established, we move on to more complex and intermediate techniques. These include: - Oil Painting: Techniques for working with this versatile and richly textured medium. - Acrylic Painting: Methods for using this fast-drying and flexible paint. - Watercolour: Skills for mastering this delicate and fluid medium. - Oil Pastels: Techniques for blending and layering with this vibrant and creamy medium. - Digital Drawing (Procreate): Instruction on creating digital artwork using the Procreate app, a powerful tool for modern artists. - Many More Mediums: Exploring other materials and techniques based on student interest, including but not limited to charcoal, coloured pencils, ink, and mixed media. Perfect! Daniela is wonderfully patient, creative, and great with young children. She teaches my 4 years old daughter painting now. My daughter enjoys it a lot and keeps telling me that arts class is her favourite class every week! Daniela has a special gift for connecting with young children, encouraging their imagination while also helping them develop fine motor skills and confidence through art. I’ve seen so much growth in my daughter’s confidence and imagination—highly recommended!

Daniela is an incredible Artist! She’s trustworthy, reliant and her passion and creativity fascinates me. She’s very fun, and makes everything so simple and creative. She will be the best tutor you will ever have.
My favourite teachers were always those who were genuinely passionate about their subject AND enthusiastic to teach, it’s hard to find ones with both qualities. Yet, Daniela embodies them.
Aside from her charismatic presence, she has a unique and intuitive way of teaching art which allows her to tailor her approach according to each individual needs and goals.
Both my sister and I, though a decade apart, found her amazing. She loves what she does and this really translates over to her students.Daniela worked as a volunteer in Gayton Library helping out with Summer Reading Challenge, later starting to do a drawing Club with kids once a month.

After lockdown she started her drawing Club again in our new Library Greenhill for a few month in 2022-2023.

She also has a friendly, likeable energy that creates great rapport with people. She has all the technical and people skills to be a great tutor for a variety of different people.
Daniela is reliable, responsible and is very patient and kind. Daniela has organised and run halt term art sessions and my 9 year old daughter loved it. Daniela is approachable and has a lovely tone of voice when instructing. I highly recommend her.
