About Tianshan
Hey guys! I am Tianshan Li, you may call me Li or Lisa, pronouns she/her. I am currently pursuing a Psychology undergraduate degree at University of Pittsburgh as an international student, and teaching Chinese as a part time job. I enjoy meeting new friends and communicating with them. I was a top student when I was in high school and I did extremely good in Chinese and English. Both my daily and literary Chinese expression have been highly trained for Gaokao, or, the university entrance exam, so I can teach you the deepest and most abroad language you may need. Looking forward to hearing your stories!

We would figure out your current level of Chinese and intended goals in our first paid lesson, covering bunches of daily topics (e.g., family, work, hobbies) in Chinese, and I would prepare the most suitable contents for each class based on that.
We may use a combination of debate, role playing, gossip, discussion as forms of practice based on your preference. Any other forms of teaching are welcomed whenever you want to have a try. Zooming, material reading are our recommended teaching techniques, however, camera and books are not mandatory. We would discuss the form and content at the end of every class.
We would be using the language that you feel most comfortable with to understand, respond and achieve progress efficiently.
Taking down notes is recommended, though I would summarize and share the key points to you in documents after each session. Complementary learning materials which are tailered for you would be provided if you paid for 10 sessions one time. I would be your most helpful friend on your way to handle this language and put your study in the first place.
