About Gabriel
I’m a graphic designer with a place to study Medicine at Liverpool. I don’t have a science degree, and for a long time I wasn’t sure I was the sort of person medical schools wanted. It turns out there’s more room for people like us than it looks from the outside.
I scored 63 on the GAMSAT and was interviewed at Liverpool in person and at Nottingham online. I remember how much of it felt like guesswork: which courses to apply to, what to put in the personal statement, what the interviewers were really asking. I’d like to make that part easier for you.
I’m patient, I’ll be honest with you about where you are, and I’ll never make you feel daft for asking something basic. Most of my own best questions were basic ones.

Hi there, I’m Gabe, a graphic designer with a place to study graduate-entry Medicine at Liverpool. I came to medicine without a science degree, so I know how it feels to wonder whether you belong in this process. You do, and it’s more doable than it looks from the outside.
I scored 63 on the GAMSAT, and Sections II and III are where I can help most. I was also interviewed at Liverpool in person and Nottingham online. I tutor GAMSAT, A-level science, personal statements and interviews, for school leavers and graduates alike.
Your first lesson is free. You tell me where you’re up to and what’s worrying you, and we’ll make a plan together. There’s no pressure to book anything afterwards.
After that, lessons go wherever you need them. That might mean working out which courses suit your background, taking your GAMSAT essays from a blank page to something you’re proud of, practising the reading section against the clock, or finding a way through the science section when science isn’t your thing.
For personal statements, we’ll find the thread that runs from what you’ve done so far to medicine, so it sounds like you and not a template. For interviews, we’ll practise the way your school runs them, in person or online, with honest, kind feedback after each one.
