Hello, I’m Anna and I offer personalised tutoring in history and English. From experience teaching in secondary schools, I understand that every student learns differently, so adapt my lesson plans to suit individual strengths and challenges. Whether you need support catching up, love these subjects and want to stay ahead, or are preparing for your exams, I provide structured lessons to focus on building skills that you can use throughout your subjects. Lessons will include: - Exploration of content through discussion: you will develop your oracy skills. - Creative exercises: I find it helpful and fun to include a variety of media in my lessons, like music, film and art. - Preparation for exams and tests: I have experience marking GCSE papers and assessments for KS3 and KS4. Lesson length will depend on your preference and availability, but between 30 minutes and 1 hour. My experience: - I graduated from University College London in 2023 with a first in Comparative Literature. - In 2024/5, I trained and completed my PGCE English, teaching qualification with King's College London. My lessons are planned and considered for students sitting GCSE and A Level exams, however these can be adapted and modified for students in years 7, 8 and 9.
