About Alistair
I am currently a second year undergraduate Linguistics student at the University of Brighton. In my first year I averaged a 2.1 overall and achieved a 1st in my Grammar and Language Acquisition modules and a 2.1 in my Phonetics & Phonology and Morphology & Syntax modules. I have worked with children in the past on summer camps and tutored my fellow course mates.

My teaching method is for the student to take the lead in what questions or issues they have on the topic. If the student is struggling with an aspect, I try to find a new angle or way of understanding that makes sense to them. Since every student is different, the same way of looking at a problem may not be the same. I am patient and friendly and am happy to keep going with the student until they understand.
