About Paola
I have been teaching Italian at a Further Education college as well as giving private tuition to students of all ages since 1997. I am also experienced in on line teaching. I mainly use Zoom, which is extremely user friendly for the student,
I enjoy my job very much and I have a great deal of experience with adult learners. I can suit all lessons and learning programs to fit the learner's needs. I have a lot of experience with complete beginners and nervous students. I can also successfully tutor for exam preparation when, through a lot of repetition and referencing past topics, I can make the student learn (very useful for teenagers!).
I have a diploma in Intepreting, a First Class Degree in Italian from UCL and a Prostgraduate Certificate. I have a Certificate of Education in Post-Compulsory Education for tutoring 16+ students.
In my spare time I am a ceramicist.
