About Anna
Hi, my name is Anna, and I have been teaching for over 25 years. I have a passion for empowering others and helping them feel seen and valued. I am dedicated to supporting those who need extra assistance—be it academic, social, behavioural, or emotional.
With a wealth of experience working with students and adults from diverse backgrounds, I have a proven track record of fostering their abilities. I collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and teachers to meet my clients’ needs at home, school, or in the workplace.
As a kind and patient tutor, I draw on my counselling background to nurture and support my clients. I also leverage my coaching skills to inspire them to take charge of their own growth.

About the lesson

With 25 years of experience working with neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults, I offer a large scope of experience. Originally a secondary school teacher, I have gone on to work in educational research, government investigations, and with EBD and ASD children and adults. I am a fully qualified Coach and hold a Level 4 in child and adolescent counselling, supporting individuals with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Tutoring sessions are a collaborative process whereby I let you, the client lead what the sessions cover, re-imagining what you perceive to be weaknesses into strengths; for example looking at exam technique or interview technique and building a toolkit to support you through those processes.
A typical session will be 50 minutes and will always conclude with a mindfulness, grounding activity. The session will begin with a recap and a brief discussion of the week's wins and areas to develop.
Sessions can be at your home or a local library/community space (if local) or online via teams and they are aimed at year 5 (age 10) upwards.
