Hello there!, I am Teacher Gen, from the beautiful country of the Philippines. A Licensed Professional Teacher and a TEFL certified with a genuine passion for helping learners discover that English can be simple, enjoyable, and rewarding.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and student-centered. I understand that every learner is different, so I take the time to understand your goals, learning pace, and areas for improvement. Hello there!, I’m a Licensed Professional Teacher who believes that learning English should be enjoyable, practical, and encouraging. My goal is not only to teach English but also to help students become more confident when speaking, reading, listening, and expressing their ideas.
I use a student-centered and interactive approach. I adjust my teaching style according to each learner’s age, level, interests, and learning needs. My lessons may include:

* Question-and-answer activities
* Vocabulary and pronunciation practice
* Conversation and role-playing exercises
* Pictures, stories, games, and real-life situations
* Positive corrections and encouragement

I believe mistakes are a natural part of learning. Instead of making students feel embarrassed, I guide them patiently and show them how to improve.
A typical lesson begins with a friendly greeting and a short warm-up to help the student feel comfortable. We then review previous knowledge before introducing the new topic. I explain the lesson using simple examples, followed by guided practice. The student then applies what they have learned through conversation, exercises, or interactive activities. At the end, we review the key points, celebrate progress, and identify what the student can practice next.
What makes me different is my patience, flexibility, and genuine interest in each learner’s progress. I create a safe and positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I don't simply teach from a textbook—I connect lessons to real-life situations and the student's interests to make learning meaningful and memorable.
My lessons are suitable for children, elementary and middle school students, teenagers, beginners, and learners who want to improve their English communication skills. I can help students with basic English, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, speaking, listening, conversation, and confidence-building.
