About April
Hi, I’m April, a Licensed Professional Teacher and TEFL-certified tutor from the Philippines, with a background in Medical Laboratory Science.
I’m based in Mindanao, where Cebuano is widely spoken. As a Filipino, I’m fluent in English and Tagalog, and as a Cebuano speaker, I also help learners improve their Cebuano through relaxed, conversation-based lessons.
I focus on building confidence first—then fluency, pronunciation, and accuracy follow naturally. My classes are structured but flexible, so you can learn at your own pace while still making real progress.
I aim to create a supportive and comfortable environment where you can speak freely without pressure. My lessons are best suited for adults, professionals, and high school to college students who want practical, real-life communication skills.

I help learners speak with confidence through conversation-based lessons focused on real-life communication. My sessions include guided free talk, vocabulary building, and targeted feedback to improve fluency and accuracy. As a Licensed Professional Teacher and TEFL-certified tutor, I create a calm, supportive, and effective learning environment. Best for adults, professionals, and high school to college students learning English, Tagalog, or Cebuano.
I use a structured yet flexible approach. I start by understanding your goals, your learning style, and what makes you feel at ease, then I adapt each session based on what works best for you. Some lessons are light and conversational, while others are more focused—whether it’s preparing for interviews, handling real-life situations, or improving everyday communication. Each session is purposeful and tailored to your needs. My aim is to help you speak with confidence, clarity, and natural flow in English, Tagalog, or Cebuano.
