About Gel

I am a passionate and dedicated healthcare tutor who enjoys helping students understand medical concepts, develop professional communication skills, and gain confidence in their knowledge. I believe that learning is most effective when lessons are practical, engaging, and connected to real-life healthcare situations.

I am a licensed midwife and graduate of St. Joseph College of Cavite Inc., with four years of nursing experience, including hands-on experience as a delivery room midwife. I also gained international caregiving experience in Hong Kong, which strengthened my communication, patience, adaptability, and understanding of different cultures.

In addition to my clinical experience, I have experience teaching Medical English to Japanese students who are studying or working in medical professions. I enjoy making complex medical topics easier to understand by using clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive discussions.

I combine my clinical experience as a licensed midwife, four-year nursing background, delivery room experience, and caregiving experience in Hong Kong with effective teaching techniques. I use simple explanations, real-life clinical examples, discussions, role-playing, and interactive activities to make lessons easier to understand and remember.

A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous topics, followed by an introduction to the new lesson. I then explain key concepts step-by-step, introduce relevant medical vocabulary, and provide practical examples.
