A Typical Lesson Plan
A typical tutoring session follows these steps:

I begin with a short conversation or review activity to recall the previous lesson and prepare the learner for the new topic.
2. Introduction of the Lesson
I introduce the topic using simple explanations and familiar examples.
3. Guided Practice
I demonstrate how to complete the task step by step while asking questions to make sure the learner understands.
4. Independent Practice
The learner answers exercises or performs an activity independently while I provide guidance when needed.
5. Assessment and Feedback
I give a short activity or questions to check what the learner has learned.
6. Review and Encouragement
We summarize the important points, correct mistakes positively, and identify what the learner should continue practicing.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
What sets me apart is my patience, dedication, and experience working with elementary learners with different learning abilities. As a teacher, I understand that some students need more time, repetition, encouragement, and different ways of explaining a concept.
I make lessons learner-centered and adjust my teaching strategies according to the student's needs. I want my students not only to get the correct answer but also to understand 'why and how' they arrived at it.
I also believe that learning should be enjoyable. I try to make my lessons engaging, encouraging, and comfortable so that students become more confident in participating and learning.
