About Mia
I am a student at Exeter University, studying Liberal Arts so I have a wide breadth of understanding the importance of cross curricular skills. I am friendly and talkative hoping to make my students enjoy the experience of learning. I have worked as a teaching assistant at Pembroke House School, helping in all subjects, but also with the learning support team. I have tutored music at a beginners level in the past too, from recorder and voice to piano.

My teaching method is to show a short presentation on the best way to tackle the problems and questions set in front of us. In terms of answer structure, I will take them through template answers. Participation is key here. We will then talk through the content, looking at different case studies and causes/impacts/effects of certain events. They then have time to tackle their own questions, where I will be there to help with any issues and review the work with the student.
