About Lucy
Hi, I’m Lucy, I’ve just sat my A-Levels in Politics, Maths, Latin and Classical Greek (achieving 4 A*s), and I’m looking to share my knowledge and love of those subjects with other students through tutoring. I sat both Maths Higher Level and Additional Maths GCSEs, achieving a 9 in Maths and an A (the highest possible grade) in Additional Maths. I have a DBS check, and would like to support GCSE and A-Level Maths students in understanding the subject, while also sharing my love of Maths with them and hopefully inspiring this same passion for it. I hope that I can provide an enjoyable and friendly learning experience!

Lessons are usually 45 minutes - 1 hour, and are very student-driven, tailored around exactly what the student wants to focus most on, whether this is working more on exam technique or on specific content areas. I have experience tutoring GCSE students in Maths at my school, and given that I have recently sat my A-Level exams I can provide understanding of the subject from a student's perspective, especially when studying exam technique or working through practice questions.

Perfect! Lucy was amazing helping my son with his Maths GCSE. She prepared in advance so well, she seems to be able to quickly get to the bottom of what he needed help and help reinforce what he already understood and also unpick what he didn't understand and quickly rebuild. I couldn't be happier. He found an hour's session enjoyable which he didn't expect and a feeling he had mastered difficult aspects of the maths gcse syllabus
