About Adina Rivka
Hi, I’m Adina Rivka. I enjoy helping students feel confident and capable in maths. I’ve helped classmates and younger students in school, which has given me experience explaining methods well. I have grade 9s in 7 subjects (including both Maths and Further Maths) at GCSE and have just finished my A Levels, with predicted A*s in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, and an A in Chemistry. As well as Maths, I also offer tutoring in Physics and Chemistry.

I help with homework, classwork and preparation for exams by ensuring students understand basic concepts before moving on to more advanced or exam-style questions. Lessons can be between 30 minutes and 1 hour, whatever suits each student. In the past, I've tutored students for GCSE in school. I have gained grade 9 in both Maths and Further Maths GCSE, as well as being predicted A* in both subjects at A Level. I offer tutoring for students in Y7-9 or at GCSE Level.

After many years of frustration at trying to help my son with his maths, we asked Adina Rivka to try. She's the only person who manages to get him to sit down and focus on improving his maths. She's incredibly patient with him, but doesn't let him get away with messing about. She knows the maths itself and the GCSE curriculum inside-out, and she has worked out a plan for him to follow to gradually improve his maths skills and knowledge over the next year as he works towards his GCSE, partly by himself and partly with her.
