About Nikoleta
I recently graduated from University College London (UCL) with a First Class degree in Psychology and Language Sciences. Through my studies I developed strong skills in psychological theory, research design, and academic writing. I also gained extensive experience analysing research papers, understanding statistical reasoning, and communicating complex ideas clearly — skills that are essential for success in A-level Psychology.
Alongside my studies, I have worked in student experience roles, supporting university students and helping them navigate academic life. This experience strengthened my ability to explain ideas clearly and support students in building confidence in their abilities.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy travelling, learning languages, and meeting people from different cultures, which reflects my interest in communication and understanding different perspectives.

Offering support for A-level Psychology students, particularly with understanding key theories, improving essay writing, and mastering research methods.
My teaching approach
Psychology can sometimes feel overwhelming because of the number of studies, theories, and evaluation points students are expected to remember. My goal is to make the subject clear, structured, and easier to approach.
I focus on helping students understand:
• key psychological theories and concepts
• how to structure strong exam answers
• how to evaluate studies effectively
• research methods and statistical reasoning
Rather than memorising content, I help students learn how to think like a psychology student, which makes exams much easier.
Lesson structure
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though shorter sessions can also be arranged.
Lessons may include:
• reviewing difficult topics from class
• practising exam questions
• improving essay structure and evaluation
• breaking down complex research methods
• revising key studies and theories
Lessons are always adapted to what the student needs most — whether that’s clarifying content, improving exam technique, or building confidence with research methods.
