I have many pages of notes on each topic of Philosophy, Religion and Ethics A Levels as well as essay plans for every single possible question. I have been tutoring since my A Levels in 2019 and each student has received an A or A*.
I found a way to write evaluative essays with a specific structure in my A Levels and have been sharing this technique after receiving almost full marks in my A Level. I then went on to study Philosophy at University and graduated with a 1st.

Ashleigh tutored me throughout my A Levels and was absolutely central to my academic success. At the end of Year 12, I was predicted AAB, but with her support I went on to achieve A*A*A, including a 90% score in Philosophy. Her teaching went far beyond simply covering the syllabus - she equipped me with highly effective revision strategies, particularly active recall, which completely transformed the way I studied and made my learning far more efficient.
Her notes are exceptionally detailed and always clearly structured, often accompanied by well-thought-out essay plans that made complex topics much easier to understand and apply in exams. Our sessions were regular, thorough, and consistently tailored to my progress, ensuring that no gaps in understanding were left unaddressed.
I later pursued a Philosophy degree, and Ashleigh continued to tutor me throughout my time at university. With her guidance, I achieved a First Class Honours degree. She shared invaluable techniques and exam “hacks” for achieving top grades, whether that meant an A* at A Level or a First at degree level.
Beyond her academic support, Ashleigh was also an incredible source of encouragement during what are some of the most demanding and stressful exams you will ever take. Her emotional support, reassurance, and belief in my ability made a huge difference, and I genuinely cannot recommend her highly enough.Ashleigh was a huge help! Philosophy was already my favourite subject at school but she made it even more enjoyable. As a graduate of the University of Birmingham, the uni I am currently at thanks to her, she has a vast knowledge on philosophy. Additionally, when it came to writing essays, she was very helpful with her feedback and helped me become a better student. She got me to do tasks which were possible to come up in the exam which I had never heard of before which was very appreciated as it made me calmer in the exam knowing that there was nothing the exam board could do to surprise me. All in all, my sessions with Ashleigh were amazing, helpful and often. During exam season, I usually had two sessions a week instead of two, sometimes one after the other, which made revision easier as I had instant feedback and a reliable answer to any question I had. As I said, I’m now at UOB and that is mainly due to the help that Ashleigh gave.
