About Tom
I'm an A level maths and further maths student at the RGS Guildford who loves maths and really enjoys helping others to learn and improve their skills. I have 9s in maths and further maths GCSEs. I'm an encouraging, patient person, with experience teaching kids from year 3 up to GCSE.

I know how important it is for maths lessons to be enjoyable, so I make sure my lessons are always engaging through a variety of different activities. I'll adjust and personalise my sessions to make sure each person has the best experience. I look to strengthen understanding of the school curriculum to help with grades and exams. I encourage questions and curiosity from students, as this allows them to broaden their understanding. My lessons are always well planned beforehand to ensure that we make the most of our lesson time. I offer 1 hour long sessions for all students from Year 3 to Year 11.
