About Joshua
I achieved an A* at OCR economics, with Geography and History making up the three A levels I studied. So, I’m well versed in essay writing that’s for sure! I consider myself very friendly and outgoing, an engaging teacher whose passion for economics has pushed me to pass this passion onto others and ensure they do the best they can.

The typical lesson length is one hour and will involve active participation and friendly guidance through topic areas to ensure that they are understood. As an A* economics student last year, I have extremely up to date and well prepared notes on all topics as well as deep understanding of the subject itself. With economics also featuring in my degree at the University of Birmingham, I am exceedingly confident of being able to provide you or your child with the help they need to bolster their grade, at a reasonable price. Studying economics takes not only the knowledge of the subject, but an understanding too. With lots of graphs and theories it is key to both know and understand how things work i.e. why certain lines are on a graph. It is this which I feel trips up many students and something aspire to aid with, along with any other queries or general help around the subject or certain topic areas. I will also be ensuring that there will be a follow up exercise (such as an essay outline) for you or your child to complete, ensuring that the information has been passed across and understood.
