About Duncan
I have a degree in Biochemistry but am a qualified teacher and have been teaching since 2002. My current role is as Head of Biology and I run a successful department in a school description as 'excellent' following our latest inspection report.
Last year my GCSE pupils achieved 86% A*/A. A Level results vary from year to year but Biology students in my school consistently score amongst the highest in the school.

My first lesson with a student involves identifying any problem areas, then setting them up with all the resources and guidance needed for them to go away and develop their understanding, recall and application. I am then on hand to help whenever necessary.
