About Madeleine
I have been playing violin for almost 10 years now and play at a Grade 8 Level. I have a great passion for the instrument and have found it to be an extremely valuable and rewarding skill to have! I have played in a number of orchestras and string groups as well as performed solo.

Learning a new instrument is very exciting and my teaching style attempts to encourage a passion and love for the instrument while developing excellent technique and ability to produce strong player. As some who understands the importance of all aspects of playing, I encourage the student to play music they love, while not forgetting the importance of practical aspects such as scales that are invaluable to developing skill and nurturing talent. I am calm and patient and as someone who knows what it is like to be a student, am able to understand the difficulties of this instrument and provide a clear route through them!
