About Suzanne
My background is in education and curriculum development in the further and higher education sectors. I have over 18 years’ experience working as a Fashion and Textiles Lecturer and Course Leader and 12 years’ experience in Curriculum Development & Management, having worked as an Area Manager for Art and Design programmes at Colchester Institute and as a Technical Consultant in Botswana at the Ministry of Education, developing, validating and implementing college-based courses for local industry in Botswana, which were endorsed by Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). I have tutored staff and learners from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds. My recent expertise was in teaching “Professional Development which focuses on jobs in the creative industries and requires learners to critically reflect, identifying and evidencing their own personal skills and goals in order to plan for their personal development needs.
