Mrs. Chitra Srinivasan is an excellent mentor for business studies or commerce related subjects. She was my tutor for my 12th grade commerce stream and she taught me Financial accounting, Business Statistics, Organization of commerce and Exonomics. Also Business Mathamatics to some of my friends who opted for it. I was an average student with no hope to succeed in these subjects . She made sure to find a way to teach me the way I would understand the subject well and built the confidence in me. She will
Make me practice the test with 3hr timings and will constantly monitor and test my ability to cope with time and quality of my work in tests I take. With some wrong influence of friends I will ask her short cut suggestions to answer the questions faster and quicker but she will correct me and made me understand the questions and problems and solve it in a straight forward way. She taught me how to read a question and the adjustment entries and how to correlate them before answering them. After my each final board examination she used to call me and ask how did I do and believe me or not I was so confident that I told her how much I will score and I got the exact marks . If it was not for her I wouldn’t have cleared my 12th grade and life would have taken different path. For my graduation and post graduation I did not take Core commerce field but took Hospitality from India and Switzerland . The knowledge I gained through her helped me immensely in Hotel financial accounts and economics. I could go on and on telling you more success stories about her but would like to keep it short and endorse her as one of the best teacher in field who not only knows what to teach but also knows how to teach as the later is very important for any student. Chitra madam had been a great teacher for statistics during my high school session. She made sure that her students are thorough with all the topics she taught in class. The roots of her teaching was so good that I could also score very nice marks in my B.Com tenure.
