I’m a native Albanian speaker, now living in the U.S., working as an Administrative Judge with Florida Commerce (yes, I judge… but only kindly when it comes to your pronunciation!). With a B.S. in Criminal Justice and pre-law, and currently engaged in law studies, I know how to break down complex rules into bite-sized, easy-to-digest lessons—kind of like how we cut baklava.
My Method? Well, forget boring drills! We will mix lively conversations, cultural nuggets, and laugh-out-loud role-playing (ever wanted to argue with a fictional Albanian grandma about eating more? Now’s your chance). I use fun memory tricks and English-to-Albanian comparisons to make this challenging language feel less like climbing Mount Everest and more like a scenic hike.
A Typical Lesson: We start with a quick chat to warm up, sprinkle in grammar and vocabulary, and wrap it up with real-world practice—so you can actually use what you learn instead of just hoarding words like a dictionary collector.

Perfect! I chose Joni to help me brush up on my Albanian because he is the most enthusiastic about teaching. The way he writes about our people and culture, my goodness, he should be a poet. Joni is a unique and rare teacher. My english levels have improved drastically ever since he took over my lectures. I'd highly recommend him for anyone that is looking for an affordable and highly well-versed tutor who will patiently break down every concept you are struggling to understand.
