About Amy
I’ve spent years running educational centers and my own tutoring business, but what keeps me in the classroom is a single moment: that look of pure pride on a student’s face when they finally 'get it.' I truly believe I can teach anyone. Whether a student is navigating neurodiversity, trauma, or significant learning difficulties, I have the Master’s-level training and the real-world experience to find the way in.
Outside of teaching, I’m a big believer in a balanced life—you’ll usually find me staying active with sports or losing myself in a painting. I bring that same energy into my tutoring: I’m competitive about my students’ success, but I also value the creativity and patience it takes to help them find their own path.

I’ve spent over five years running educational centers, and if that taught me one thing, it’s that I can teach anyone. There is no such thing as a 'lost cause' or a student who 'can't learn'—there are only students who haven't been taught in a way that respects their brain. I specialize in neurodiversity and learning difficulties, using a trauma-informed, mana-enhancing approach to reach the students the system often misses. Whether it’s complex sensory needs or significant learning gaps, I have the experience and the Master’s-level training to figure out exactly how a student clicks and get them moving forward.
