About Adiel A
I'm a bilingual educator fluent in both English and Spanish, with a passion for helping people genuinely understand languages rather than just memorize them. My teaching philosophy is simple: real learning happens when you can think in the language, not translate it.
My background combines language education with technical subjects, which gives me a unique perspective on breaking down complex concepts into digestible lessons. I've spent years teaching friends, peers, and colleagues, refining a calm, adaptable approach that meets students where they are.
Outside of tutoring, I'm into technology, problem-solving, and continuous learning myself. I believe education should be engaging, practical, and tailored to real-world goals - whether that's acing a job interview, communicating confidently in business meetings, or simply having deeper, more meaningful conversations in English.
My teaching style is relaxed but focused. I don't believe in high-pressure environments or one-size-fits-all methods. Instead, I work with you to identify your specific goals and create a personalized path to reach them. My teaching method focuses on active learning through real content analysis. We work with business articles, case studies, or topics relevant to your goals. Each session combines reading comprehension, vocabulary building, and critical discussion. I use the Socratic method, asking questions that help you reason in English rather than translate. Techniques include contextual learning, pattern recognition, and practical application in real-world scenarios.
A typical 60-minute lesson includes:
Warm-up conversation (10 min) - discuss current topics, review progress
Reading analysis (20 min) - work through an article/text, analyze vocabulary and context
Critical discussion (20 min) - deep dive into the topic, practice reasoning and argumentation
Practical application (10 min) - role-play, email writing, or presentation practice
Lessons are flexible and adapted to your immediate needs. Homework is optional but recommended
