About Karen
As a native Spanish speaker with a passion for teaching, I bring enthusiasm and commitment to every lesson. Although I don't have formal tutoring experience, my role as a camp counselor at Santo Domingo Country Club gave me valuable teaching skills. Over the course of 6 weeks, I worked with children aged 4 to 11, guiding them through activities, ensuring their safety, and fostering their growth. This experience honed my ability to communicate, organize, and adapt to the needs of different learners.
In addition, my strong communication skills, gained from content creation and social media management roles, allow me to connect with students and make learning engaging and accessible. I approach each lesson with patience and professionalism, ensuring that my students feel supported as they work towards their Spanish language goals. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, I’m excited to help you build confidence and fluency in Spanish.
