About Kendal
I believe great artists are made through curiosity, discipline, and persistence—not talent alone. My goal is to help others discover that drawing is a skill anyone can develop with thoughtful practice and the courage to keep improving. Every line is an opportunity to learn, every mistake is a lesson, and every drawing brings you one step closer to mastering your craft. Together, we'll build confidence, strengthen fundamentals, and create art with purpose, passion, and intention.

Teach observation first — Learn to see shapes, angles, proportions, and relationships.
Build structure — Reduce everything to simple 3D forms (boxes, spheres, cylinders).
Explain the "why" — Help students understand perspective, anatomy, light, and design rather than just copying.
Practice deliberately — Give focused exercises that target one skill at a time.
Critique constructively — Point out strengths, identify one or two improvements, and explain how to fix them.
Increase complexity gradually — Move from simple objects to portraits, figures, environments, and imagination.
Encourage consistency — Regular, thoughtful practice beats occasional long sessions.
