• 1) Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

  Playing The Sims. It was my first experience understanding that a computer could be used to build spaces, control environments, and tell stories - not just “do tasks”.

• 2) What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be a turning point?

  AI, without question. I already use it, but carefully. I’m interested in how it can support thinking and process without flattening projects or making everything look the same. I’m still questioning it rather than blindly adopting it.

• 3) Explain your expertise, your interest in it, and its importance.

  My background is in architecture and spatial design, working across architecture, theatre, set design, and exhibitions. I focus a lot on 3D modeling, post-production, concept development, and visual presentations. These tools are essential today for translating ideas into clear, communicable projects.

• 4) Do “visionaries” like Gates, Jobs, Zuckerberg inspire you?

  Not really. I’m more inspired by architects, designers, and people in theatre. I look up to multidisciplinary creatives and educators rather than tech icons.

• 5) A valuable anecdote from school or your field.

  At school we were often taught software by memorizing commands. Once I understood the logic behind how tools work, everything became easier - and that’s exactly how I teach now.

• 6) What would you say to someone uncomfortable with IT who says it’s too complicated?

  It’s not complicated - it’s just poorly explained. Most discomfort comes from not understanding the logic behind the tools.

• 7) Your other passions, related or not to computers?

  Theatre, set design, exhibitions, film, performance. I also love filming, recording scenes, reading, and observing how people experience space.

• 8) What makes you a Superprof in IT?

  I taught myself these tools and truly understand how they work. That allows me to explain them clearly, adapt to each student, and focus on understanding - not memorization.
