About Patricia
Hello! My name is Patricia. French and German are both my native languages. I have more than 10 years of experience teaching languages and over 30 years of professional experience as a translator, working across a wide range of industries, from technology and law to food and beverages.
I also speak English, Spanish and Italian, which gives me a very good understanding of the challenges that come with learning a new language and developing the confidence to actually use it in real life.
For me, learning French is about much more than memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules. I love teaching the French that people actually speak: natural pronunciation, everyday expressions, culture, customs and all those little nuances that make a language truly come alive.
My teaching style is warm, patient and empathetic, and a good sense of humour is always part of my classes. I want my students to feel comfortable, lose their fear of making mistakes and, most importantly, genuinely enjoy the learning process.
Many of my students have been learning with me for years, and one of the most rewarding parts of teaching has been watching students use what they have learned to study, work and even build a new life abroad.

My lessons are dynamic, relaxed and, above all, 100% personalized. I don't believe in using exactly the same method with everyone: every student has a different personality, learning pace and set of goals.
Depending on what you would like to achieve, we can work on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, listening comprehension and writing, or simply focus on helping you speak French more fluently, naturally and confidently.
Lessons can also be tailored to a specific goal, whether you need French for work, studies, travel, moving to a French-speaking country, professional communication or simply feeling more comfortable using the language in everyday life.
And you won't learn only textbook French! As a native French speaker, I love incorporating the expressions people actually use, natural pronunciation, culture and customs into my lessons. My goal is to help you understand not only the language itself, but also how French is really spoken and used in everyday life.
One of my biggest priorities is creating an environment where you feel completely comfortable speaking and are never afraid of making mistakes. There will be plenty of conversation and practical exercises — and usually plenty of laughter too — while always keeping your goals and progress in focus.
I want you to look forward to our lessons each week while gradually noticing how much more confident and comfortable you are becoming when using French in real-life situations.
