About YUKO
Nice to meet you! I’m Yuko, a professional Japanese teacher. So far, I’ve taught over 500 students around the world, both in-person and online. I’ve lived in America, Thailand, Indonesia, and China for many years. Learning new languages completely changed my world — and I want to help you experience the same joy! Because I’ve studied many languages myself, I truly understand the challenges and feelings of language learners. I speak Chinese at a business level, English for daily conversation, and I’ve also learned basic Thai and Indonesian. In addition to being a Japanese teacher, I also have experience working in Japanese companies, universities, and as a Japanese teacher at overseas junior high and high schools. Whether you're a student or a working adult, I can fully support your learning goals. In my lessons, I focus on helping you speak Japanese with confidence. We will balance all four skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking, while making sure you can actually use what you learn. For JLPT learners, I offer original study materials (N5-N3), which I will share with you for self-study after the lesson too! Many of my students have reached daily conversation level within 6 months and successfully passed the JLPT or achieved their study and career goals in Japan. Learning a language changes your life. I am here to support you every step of the way, helping you stay motivated and ensuring that your Japanese improves quickly. As someone who has learned multiple languages, I understand the challenges of language learning and I’m passionate about helping my students overcome them. My teaching method focuses on practicality, consistency, and fun, so you can enjoy the learning process while achieving your goals.
